ジョン・Ｗ・キャンベル記念賞(John W. Campbell Memorial Award) 1973-

ハリー・ハリスン(Harry Harrison)とレオン・ストーヴァーが創設。スポンサーはイリノイ核研究所。
SF作家と評論家による国際的会議で決定され、国籍を問わずに、前年度に初めて発表された長編に与えられる。
トロフィーは、ブロンズ製のメビウスの輪。
もともとは、ネビュラ賞への批判が動機だったらしい。国籍を問わずとは言え、非英語圏はロベール・メルルだけというのも哀しい。受賞作品には個人的に好きなものが多い。派手さはないが、きらりと光る作品である。
